West coast artist Diane Matier's unique Art Quilts have been seen nationally. As a skilled facilitator with a well rounded art experience she enjoys guiding her students to express their own creative truth and vision.

In 1997 she began making Spirit Dolls to restore her energy and gain insight and peace and now enjoys sharing this art meditation process with others.

In addition to facilitating workshops she enjoys making art quilts and objects that capture the “zen” moments of meditation or nature.

Having been a family caregiver in a sandwich generation Diane understands the need women have to take time for themselves and promotes using the creativity as a path to wellness.

Students love her stress free and encouraging teaching style where "Anything goes!"
